Round 2 Dowling & Neylan Dolphins Show Formidable Form

Dowling and Neylan Noosa Dolphins continued their momentum to win more than comfortably against the Nambour Toads last Saturday. A home game at Dolphins Oval, the Nambour Toads were outclassed in every department with the final score a white wash 75 - 3. With 13 tries and 5 conversions the Noosa side are looking very strong and it’s only the start of the season.

Try scorers were:

Jarrad Postle 2

Brandon Mayhew 2

John Tarrant 1

Wilson Enoka 1

Jonathan Davey 1

Jared Whitburn 1

Louis Turnbull 1

William Rogers 1

Jay Moffat 1

Jordan Mayhew 1

Scott Brodie 1

Will Hanton converted 5

A man of few words, Coach Timmsy, was thrilled with the result “it’s great to see the team working together so well this early into the season. They’ve been training hard with heightened momentum and I am confident we can carry this through the entire season” he said.

Reserve Grade also impressed in their game against Gympie with Reece Carroll scoring two tries, Taylor Moffatt, Richard Peacock, Todd Carroll, Nicholas Colvin and Thomas Kearney each scoring 1 try and Ryan Frisby making 6 conversions to contribute to the 47-5 winning margin.

With the next clash against Maroochydore at home again at Dolphin Oval this weekend, Sunshine Beach, the Dowling & Neylan Noosa Dolphins are assured to be relentless in their attack game and equally as impressive with the defense, tirelessly defending the lineouts and wheeling the scrum with their strength.

The Reserve Grade game will commence at 1.45pm and the A Grade 3.15pm Saturday 16 April so come along and support the Mighty Dolphins.
